Happy 2011: First Post

Hi,all..how was your day? The first day of the New Year? Mine went absolutely as I wanted it to...from the time of waking up with a smile, to walking to shopping a bit to getting things done... Tomorrow dawn's another day- the first New Year day at work...more updates coming up.:) As I wrote on my FB page: "Waking up feeling refreshed. Good 1 hr morning walk..only positive thoughts in mind till now...and, 10 hrs of 2011 are already gone...I'm sure the same joy will prevail for the rest of the year...for me, for everyone I know and admire-each person unique in his or her own way. Wishing all a delightful, abundant 2011. All your dreams WILL come true.:)(Let's recap on 01.01.12)" Cheerio and have a rocking 2011...hope to see loads of posts from all my favourite writers.:)

Hi,all- after a somewhat tiring week, courtesy the 'under the weather' health, things are pretty much back to normal now. (TGIF- and TGIS,tomorrow). So, what happened, that was newsworthy? Firstly, let me mention Keshi's latest post. She observed what I'd also observed on some of the blogs I surfed, recently-namely,that people seemed to be negative,moody..in other words, not too happy with life the way it has been treating them (I observed it mostly on the newer blogs I visited, not on my usual favourites who are pretty cheerful(And,that's why they're my favourites,na!), incidentally) As Keshi says, why do we consider our minor problems to be such major ones? Look around and see people in your circle-friends, family,et al-at least 2-3 or them will be struggling with problems which would be much greater in intensity than yours. By comparison, our problems(At least, mine) seem to pale in comparison. And, it always helps me in appreciating the way life has moved for me...

It's been nearly 2 weeks since we landed in Baroda. And, it's been a lively period,to say the least. Some observation s: Today, while sailing along at 40 kmph on my Kinetic(two-wheeler, for those not in the know, one of the most reliable vehicles to travel fast on Baroda's roads)I was astonished to see a sign board, outside at least half a dozen bungalows and buildings, proclaiming: Entry inside is strictly restricted to the owners...and, below it, it boldly said' Red Rose '...thinking that this was a new and upcoming builder, I went closer to one of the signs to read the small print and, couldn't help bursting out laughing when I read the full description after Red Rose. So, it goes: Entry inside is strictly restricted to the owners. Trespassers will be prosecuted- ' RED ROSE b...
