Thought for the day: If Practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice? At a recent get-together just before Diwali, our group of friends had got together. Some of the interesting ‘participation’ games which came up, which were quite new to me,were: - A chair was placed on the stage. The announced said’ the first person to put a picture of his spouse(from his wallet) on this chair, wins a prize’. - On the same chair, the next one from the announcer- ‘the first person to put the smallest Indian currency on the chair, wins the prize’. - This one was like Housie:A card containing 16 squares(Or, was it 15?) just like in house, was given to everyone. Their task- everyone has to move around the room and get people to sign their name in a blank square. Then, just like housie, chits of all the names were put in a basket, and one by one, each name was read out.
