Attached. (Don’t ask how many years. ROFL)

B. Best Friend?
Quite a few- wouldn’t like to name them here- just in case I miss out someone.

C: Cake or pie?
Neither- I’m on a diet, you see!!haha. But seriously, a simple plum(p) cake or a Black Forest, are welcome once in a while.

D. Drink of choice?
Laban Up(Buttermilk/chhaas, to those who’re not aware of the Gulf lingo). But, I do take a Thums Up/Diet Coke once in a while.

E. Essential item you use every day?
The PC and, in turn, the net.

F. Favorite color?
Blue- sky blue, to be precise

G. Gummy bears or worms?
Neither.:)

H. Hometown?
Baroda- where I’m just longing to return.

I. Favorite indulgence?
Too many- from watching Seinfeld to a cuppa chai to sleeping in savasana(The ‘ultimate’ position, if I may be allowed the pun.LOL) position.

J. January or July?
January, of course- the best weather in Dubai and in Baroda- also, the kite-flying season in Baroda.

K. Kids & their names?

L. Life isn’t complete without?
Tea, blogs and blog pals, family, friends, books, music, movies.

M. Marriage date?
Dec 08

N.Number of Siblings?
One younger brother.

O. Oranges or Apples?
Both, and watermelons, papayas, too.

P. Phobias?
Crowds- positively claustrophobic, that’s me- I feel faint even looking at a crowded Mumbai local when I’m in Mumbai.

Q. Quotes?
‘If you walk with your face towards the sun, your shadow will fall behind you’. (Heard this on Radio Australia in the Nineties). However, I get inspired by so many quotes/things/ happenings.. see my inspirations blog.

R. Reasons to smile?
Being alive, all bodily functions working fine every morning.

S. Season?
Love the rainy season, specially since I haven’t been in Baroda at that time, in 7 ½ years.

Biting nails when nervous(Am nearly in control of this, now-touchwood!)

X. X-ray you've had?
Arm(when I had a hairline crack), CT Scan(to check whether the brain existed, when I had too many headaches)

Y. Your favorite food?
Idli Sambhar, Salads from the Spinneys salad bar.

Pisces

This post is really good ... I know you more .. you like Idli Sambar! guess what? last week, I learnt how to make Sambar from my colleague, he is Indian and he is very kind to teach me. I love sambar too ... but with Uttapham :P Anyway, you know I love naan and mango lassi the most :)
I am not sure ... but I don't think I tell you yet ... I am going to India in Nov, more specific, Delhi :) yeyyy! Pardon my geography, how long from Delhi to Baroda by flight?

  Hi all positive people.. a topic I often think over.. it's something which helped a lot in changing my thoughts towards the positive side (Again, learned via the Secret)... and, still does, in this always continual learning curve. The subject: Perception... my own perception: Think over it, specially, your negative thoughts and emotions about people and things - you find someone to be angry, you find them to be always complaining, you hate(That's the worst negative word, according to me.. better to dislike than hate, if you have to) someone or something. Think over it... are those persons or things like that? Or, it it your perception of how they are? Inventions and Discoveries

I'm really curious. Who invented the 'Va'. Or the 'Sha'. Or the 'Wi'. Or some such words. No, they're not some illnesses or prefixes. These are the words we invent when talking to people. I see the usage the max, specially in Baroda. Like: 1. Chai-Vaai peeni hai?(Want to have some Chai-Vaai?) 2. Naashta-Vaashta kar liya?(Did you have Naashta-Vaashta?) 3. Chutney-Vutney hai kya?( Is there any chutney-vutney?) 4. Lift-Wift nahin hai kya building mein?(Isn't there a Life-Wift in the building?) 5. Bombay-Wombay/ Dubai-Shubai kab jaa rahe ho ab?(When are you going to ....?) 6. Paise-Vaise milenge time pe ya nahin?(Will you get Paise-Vaise on time or not?) There are so many others I come across during the day, like, say speaker-veeker, phone-vone, kapde-vapde, dukaan-vukaan, that I have these rhyming words coming out of my ears, and, Arghhh!! Tag:What's in your bag?

(Disclaimer: all the briefcase pics are courtesy goo-gling) Sush ,nee, SS has tagged me(thanks for that,SS)-the (ahem) only guy picked to do the tag...curiosity @ what I carry in my briefcase,apparently.:) So,here goes...be ready to get shocked??Not really.. ---- Currently: Answer is : Nothing..:)hehe..why? Coz I don't carry a bag or a briefcase. Some months back, I decided that I was fed up of carrying...(Well,that appears below)...anything to work. Just decided' Khaali haath aaye the hum, khaali haath jaayenge' applies to my work place,too..and..the rest,as they say, is history..so while people look proud lugging their laptops,their lunches, et al everyday to work..and sweating away in this humid weather, I'm cool,calm, collected...no pressure on the arms,so to speak.
