Nice Weekends

Hi,all! Just taking benefit of the break-I usually don't get addicted to TV,but, today being a holiday, the mood is light..and,imagine-there's Comedy Circus coming on one channel,Golmaal(The original one) on another.Naturally,Comedy Circus wins-coz I've seen Golmaal umpteen number of times. And,oops-I forgot-I think Paani Puri(The program, not the food) also comes today??
----
Come to think of it-these two days have been unusual-first,horror-I watched one horror movie and one TV program, yesterday-first,it was Resident Evil on TV-somewhat scary, that one, though, not to the extent of,say,The Exorcist(Never saw that one, except for the trailers). And,then, saw 'Shhh..Phir koi hai',all about an atma out for revenge, which 'enters' a lil girl's real life body.Anyway,no more horror for the next few days.It becomes too boring after a while.
-----
On to other topics. Tell me,do you gesticulate wildly when talking on the phone? For example, when you're giving directions to someone on how to reach your home/office, do you move your arm left and right and forward,as if the person were sitting right opposite?I saw this guy yesterday, getting angry with someone who was on the other side of the phone, and, his arms began flailing more and more,as each moment passed.

Now,that's only slightly more weird than the gesture many of us Indians have of moving our heads side by side, when we are agreeing with someone and saying'yes'. I never consciously knew this, but the boss at my previous job brought this trait to mind when he would explain something and I'd say 'Yes' and then move my head side by side. Once he got bugged and asked'Amit, are you agreeing with me or disagreeing?' Since then, I changed the trait(And,it's not easy, believe me.LOL),but, I continue to observe it in so many people I come across.Think over it-imagine standing in front of your Boss at work, alone or at work, and he's telling you something-are you nodding your head up and down or,swaying it side by side?

Office insults:(Don't blame me if you try them in real life)
I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public.

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

It sounds like English, but I can't understand a word you're saying.

I can see your point, but I still think you're full of it.

To think is easy. To act is difficult. To act as one thinks is the most difficult.

Loved the quote. Easier said than done, right?

It applies to all those who also give unsolicited advice. I would like them to act on what they say and show me how.

Last part is so funny!!

What a brilliant post to be reading while at work lol... I loved all the office insults, your picture of the day and the fill in the blanks exercise.
Gesticulating (which btw sounds like a medical term for, umm you know, gastric problems) while talking on the phone? Sometimes I do, when am giving directions - I steer my mental car using my hands *grin*

Lol! Oh yes am an energetic person... Hmm meaning that I also gesticulate while explaining something whether it's giving directions or any kind of explanations. What to do? It's nature! Ah now you better wonder how I 'gesticulate' when am angry or nervous! Overall... am a "gesticulator"!!! Ha ha ha!

Haha--very funny!Too easy!

Yt, yes--I would like answer that--

Yes, I don't have a brain.
Yes, I don't have sense.
Yes, I am stupid.

Yes, I am nothing.

If I will answer No (debatable), gonna be a contradictory statement ---which I don't really make sense( at all)--

All in all--yes or no( still the same meanin'---

If you say, the one who will answer this is very stupid? Yeah, I already took the quiz.

Funny blog in here!

Ciao---
