Murder in the 1st degree

Thought for the day: Even if there is nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit.~Author Unknown
It finally happened. The first murder in our new office. I first spotted it by the spot of red just inside a cabin. On walking a step ahead, there it was, lifeless in death- I could imagine how the body must have writhed in it’s last moments, eyes wide open, asking for a little mercy, and the perpetrator of the deed, not hearing a word, must have just put his foot down and ………..crushed the baby lizard, of course. The perpetrator of the foul deed has not been found yet- perhaps he/she wiped his feet clean or discarded his shoes/ high heels/?? In order to avoid detection, obviously.

Right after that, I found a baby spider in my section of the office. On calling the office boy, before I could tell him to just shift the wee thing to some other place, WHAM! The second murder of the day was committed, he just put his foot down, too, spidey stuck to his shoe underside, and he hobbled to the dustbin to drop him off. Sighh! What an end to the week.
Hey, my first letter in eplus(A local TV guide plus entertainment mag) was just published today. Will see if there’s an e-version of the same. Reminds me of…well, that’s a topic for the next post.
Time for some GK questions, for a change:

Q: Which organ of the human body has no sensation when it’s cut?
A: To all those with dirty minds (who thought otherwise), the answer is ‘brain’.

Q: If we say 'MUMMY', they come together & go apart when we say DADDY':
A: Still suspecting the answer to be non-veg? Arre, the answer is Lips, of course.

Numerical palindrome:
111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987, 654,321

That reminds me, if you are a fan of English, go to . It’s one of my favourite sites, anyday.
On to the end jokes:
Did you know that .* Los Angeles's full name is "El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula" and can be abbreviated to 3.63% of its size, "L.A."
A pr*gnant goldfish is called a twit. (Heaven knows how many people I must have addressed thusly, by now.)
If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.
Till next time, keep smiling.
