Funny song lyrics

I came across some fun resignation letters. I loved the first one (above). The best of the lot was:
(Try them someday):

“Hello BOSS, I love Ur wife.
Urs faithfully”
(No need to resign after that one, na?)

Do you find some songs totally getting into your system and you end up humming them every now and then, at least, till the next one comes up. Of course, when it’s a song with nonsensical lyrics, it’s pretty irritating . Like, there was this movie on TV- definitely a David Dhavan movie, I ‘d say. It had a song which went :

‘ Jab tak rahega samose mein aaloo,
Mein tera rahoonga, oh meri Shaalu.’

(Till the samosa has a potato(aalu),
I’ll be yours, oh my Shaalu)

Arghhh! I heard that song while leaving for my evening walk yesterday and couldn’t get the catchy tune out of my mind. Come to think of it, it’s the tune, which makes the lyrics attach themselves to it, making the most inane of lyrics hummable. What do you think?

Reminds me of a tune which some bloggers had,err, inflicted on me, via mention of it in their posts. It was the Jungle Book song of Mowgli, which went ‘Jungle jungle baat chali hai pata chala hai Chaddi pahan ke phool khila hai phool khila hai ’. Oops- I hope I didn’t give the whammo to anyone who has heard that tune? I got rid of it from my mind only after blogging about it. LOL. If you've not heard it, here's the link.

Saw a new restaurant yesterday(I think the average is one a month)- titled ‘ Urban Tadka’…quite a different name, huh? Instead of tadka, though, I saw all kinds of scrumptious bhels and paani puris, et al, at their counter. (LOL, no-I did not try any).
